Web Quality factor

This factor is part of Web Quality — the weighted 0..100 score that sits above Web Standards. Its weight depends on what kind of site is being measured. Web Standards items take priority; this factor only enters the score once Web Standards passes.

Base weight: 1.0 applied to every site type unless overridden below
Why this weight: Title/meta/OG/Twitter/canonical is how the site shows up everywhere it gets shared. Lower for personal sites that don't expect to be discovered.

What we measure

These tags tell Google, Facebook, X, and other platforms how to display your site when shared. Without them, you get whatever default the platform decides.

How to improve your score

Set unique `<title>` (50-60 chars), `<meta name="description">` (150-160 chars), Open Graph tags (`og:title`, `og:description`, `og:image`), Twitter cards, and a `<link rel="canonical">` on every page. WordPress: install Yoast or Rank Math.
